TONI&GUY: Socialized – The Bailey (Colour)

The Colour by FRANCESCO FONTANA: The Bailey draws inspiration from the recent Balmain A/W 2015 campaign. The linear collection of bold contrasting colours and deep detailed borders, along with irregular sized sections, makes a dramatic statement. Another influencing factor was June Grahams BHA Colour Technician of the Year 1999 winning collection. The inspiration behind her colour palette was a Grace Jones video called One Man Show directed by her ex-husband Jean Paul Gaud. He used lights positioned in such way that created focal points, sometimes distorting and changing the perception with an extreme sense of power.
